Schools Work

We are working in partnership with local secondary schools to offer the Supported Learning Programme.

We offer a relaxed training environment for students who have diificulty in a traditional classroom environment. Sessions are short and regular breaks aid concentration. The course covers elements of maths literacy, project work, discussions, craft and technology and utilises I.T. in many sessions. Lunch is provided free to all students and drinks are provided throughout the day.

In 2005, Volcom carried out an independent report of our Supported Learning Programme to draw out key interventions that led to success and inform good practice in other similar projects, or even schools. To see the executive summary, click here.
