Open Drop-in Sessions
(Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30-9:00pm)
Rhema Youth Works runs open drop-in sessions which any young person aged 13 -19 can access.
The drop-in is a place for young people to come and chill out, be safe and be themselves. We have a pool table, comfortable seating, an IT Suite with broadband Internet access, a table tennis table and an Xbox 360 games console. Free activities such as art, DJ workshops, quizzes, karaoke, circus skills, competitions, etc. are regularly on offer. We also provide free drinks and reasonably priced food is available from our snack bar. The music studio is usually open for at least part of the session for DJ/MCing and/or band jamming.

How often do you come to our evening drop-ins?
Twice a week.
And why do you come?
Cos it's cracking!
What stuff do you enjoy doing when you're here?
Pool, computers, using the boxing punch bag.
What do you think about the atmosphere?
It's sound.
What's your favourite thing about the sessions?
The computers - you can go on Facebook. And chilling out in the front
and making your own coffee.
What do you think of the staff here?
They're alright, yeah.
Do you go to any other youth clubs?
No, just here.
Why's that?
Because this is the only place I like coming.
OK, that's nice to hear. What do you think of the changes we've
made to the building?
It's miles better. A lot different, tidier. I like the kitchen.
What would you say to a young person who is thinking of coming here?
You'll enjoy it.
