Music Studio
The music recording studio was built to enable young people to explore and develop their musical skills and creativity. The studio is available to anyone aged 13 to 19 who wishes to make music at no charge. In it's first 6 months of being open the studio has seen bands, solo singers, DJs and Rap artists record there with a catalogue of about 30 tracks being recorded.
The studio is currently available for the following sessions:
Wednesday 4.00pm - 7.00pm
Thursday 4.00pm - 7.00pm

NB: Additional sessions crop up and more are available during the school holidays, including full day, 6-hour sessions. We are looking to create more slots soon.
Equipment and facilities include:
- Live recording room
- Control room
- 48-track PC based recording system with the capability of 16 tracks being recorded simultaneously
- Drum kit
- Electric guitars
- Bass guitar
- Various amplifiers
- Synth keyboard
- Professional CD decks
- Vinyl decks
We also have various pieces of "outboard" equipment for processing guitars and basses. The studio is also fully equipped with a varity of good quality microphones for all purposes.
